Last chance to vote for the Victober group read. Follow the link to find the poll on Katie's channel. Currently Deerbrook and The Doctor's Wife are neck and neck.

Are you looking forward to Victober? The host team are starting to plan. Vote now to help select our group read. We have four interesting choices that are novels by less obvious Victorian women authors. It's a chance to branch out. Use this link to hurry to Katie's channel and pick the one you fancy so you can join ‪@katiejlumsden‬ ‪@katehowereads‬ Marissa ‪@BlatantlyBookish‬ and me reading it across October.

Did you spot it? Yesterday I managed to upload the wrong video. Here's the right one about Jane Austen's humour. Thank you Clare for pointing it out. And apologies if you were mystified. I think I need more sleep. https://youtu.be/xqJMUhnOggA

I'm away for a couple of weeks. Little wifi so lots of reading planned but no videos. The kitten is holding the fort at home with Alfred. Not sure who is in charge 😉

Excellent choice for Sagalong 2024. Tilly explains why if you have never read a saga this is a great one to try. Also good for @historathon @springintoadventure and even @peopleapril so why not give it a go?

Jack ‪@spreadbookjoy‬ is featuring a picture book a day this month for Picture This. The Dam is gorgeous. I read it yesterday as a People April/Picture This crossover choice. Have a look.
