Hurrah for summer finally arriving. I hope you are all like me and loving a bit of sunshine, warmth and blue skies.......and hopefully your plants are loving it too! As we head towards July (my favourite month of the year!) there will be a couple more of my quiet videos to see before the chat (and the masses of work/DITL videos!) start again. I have really enjoyed making these quieter videos and taking some time out for myself during a time when my mind has been elsewhere and some sad feelings have been around. One of the reasons for taking time out this month was because it is leading up to the first anniversary of my Sister's death. It has been a bit of a tough time....but also beautiful (for the quietness and reflection and the chance to give thanks and appreciate)....I needed time to lick my wounds and simply be. A handful of folk have not liked these quiet videos......that's fine, not everyone likes everything......but could I please, respectfully, suggest that if you don't like a video you simply don't watch. Rather than watching it and then berating me for it because you hate it and find it boring......when you watch a video you hate and take the time to leave a negative comment it hurts me. We are all different. Let those who enjoy them carry on doing so.......and for those who don't please just skip them and don't spoil my day or the day of someone else. Enjoy the quiet, simple moments.......life can be short.....let us celebrate the beauty and the positive things each day.

Hurrah....whatever the glitch on FB and Insta was it seems to have been resolved......phew, I use the messaging bit on FB to video call friends so I suddenly felt rather cut off.

Hello lovelies......just to let you know....there will be a video this afternoon.....but in the meantime it seems like something has gone wrong with both Facebook and Insta.......I am locked out of both. I have no idea why....hacking? Or an unfounded complaint (I've experienced that before from a nasty little worm).......I have no idea. So, until I let you know otherwise on here.......if you see a new post on FB or Insta that looks a bit weird please assume it is not me!

Dear friends (lens friends!).....I apologise for a slightly longer absence than I initially anticipated......life likes to throw curve balls eh? I have been busy with personal and family stuff but hope to be back to uploading videos before too long....hopefully by next weekend. Hello lovely people....a quick note today purely to say I am OK. I know a lot of folk have been worried......rest assured there is nothing to be worried about.....I am simply off-line and getting on with other stuff. Normal 'service' will resume in about a week. 😃 I appreciate your concern but there is nothing to be concerned about, I am absolutely fine......the harvests are coming in thick and fast....almost everyday I am processing something for the freezer...usually tomatoes! Rest assured there is no drama here.....and I will see you all again in videos soon. Thank you for being concerned.
