Internet, cable, and telephone are back! Came on last night about 11:30pm and then disappeared 15 minutes later (or at least some of it did). Thanks to those who reached out! Power came on Saturday night and Spectrum last night. Hopefully back to normal soon. We were so, so lucky.

We came back home yesterday from our evac spot. We are without power. We do have a generator which will run the fridge, a fan, a light, and charge cell phones. We lost the tree in my front yard where i feed and watch birds. A little flashing or what ever itโs called from the roof eves. No water intrusion. We are thankful because not all areas fared as well. Our pool is dirty but that will wait till a few more things are done.

Just back from our cruise on Enchainment of the Seas! We were a day late getting back because the port of Tampa was not operational on our scheduled return day. We had plenty of food, activities, etc. so we were comfortable and have no complaints. Can't exactly fight a hurricane afterall. Luckily, our neighborhood was fine - just debris and minor damage to some. Folks near the beach were not so lucky. Our hearts goes out to them.

I'm a rat terrier foster mama for Ratbone Rescues. With my own dogs and fosters running around here, we call it the Rattie Ranch. Whatever you call it, it's a house full of pet hair! I do lots of unboxings and try-ons of plus size fashion. I occasionally do orchid gardening, taste tests, movie reviews, travel, birding and crafting related videos. I hope this channel proves we are relevant at any age or size!
