For Kira Fontana, creating music has always been spiritual. After studying music at top conservatories on the East Coast, Kira moved to LA to begin her career. Discouraged by what she saw in the industry, she lost inspiration and stopped writing and singing. But at the end of 2017, something changed. Kira had been “spiritual, but not religious” for many years, but when she began praying to “see truth", she had a revelation. “I finally saw the world for what it was. I saw so much darkness, and needed to find the true light." That search led to a radical encounter with Jesus. On a new spiritual path, Kira asked, “God, why did you even make me?” At 3am that night, she woke from a dream with a powerful new melody, which became the chorus of “Refuge”. Then came a flood of songs... God's way of saying, "I made you to worship Me!" Now, Kira's transcendent music points people to the One who made them and loves them. It is music that uplifts and inspires. Music that is a light in the darkness.
