Working on another stormlight animatic! Got some real special things planned for this one, it'll be super rad.
Was exploring the audio for this one a little more, and a comment I get a lot is "use the graphic audio." There are some great spots for the graphic audio, like for Syl's voice, but unfortunately it's not possible. I cut anything that isn't dialogue out when I edit the audiobooks so it feels more cinematic, and if I tried to do the same thing to the graphic audio then it would sound really disjointed with the sound and music they put over their narration. Plus, I think Michael Kramer does a pretty stellar job.
So there you go! It's just not in the cards.

Wow uh, thanks for the love guys?? I had no idea a stormlight archives animatic would be so well received.
That was a piece I made for my storyboard portfolio. Rest assured that if stormlight was ever to be animated, I would do everything in my power to be a part of that team.
For my next board I was planning an Adolin and Sadeas scene. Just the two of them. You know. The scene where they.....kiss
