I'm so grateful to the numerous Protestants, including one Evangelical pastor, who commented on my recent video to share their own experiences of finding Gnostic strains within (parts, obviously, of) Protestant theology. I think hearing it from you guys really helps the folks who otherwise wave the problem away by saying things like, "wait wait wait... are we really listening to a Catholic talk about anti-gnosticism?"
(For the historically ignorant: Catholics are the earliest and fiercest opponents of Gnosticism).

Exciting update! The Martin Luther video that was originally supposed to be last week's episode is finally out of YouTube Purgatory. Since it was resolved today (and since we'd JUST put out the actual video for the week, on whether Baptists should... or can... affirm the Nicene Creed), we don't want it to get lost in the algorithmic aether, so we're going to take it private and re-release next week.
I know some of you already got a sneak preview, but if you want to help this video get the attention that it hopefully deserves, I would love it if you would like, comment, share, and the rest. When YT sees "engagement" like that, it puts the thumbnail in front of more people's eyes - it's a small act that can potentially change lives. God bless you!

We did a response video on misconceptions about Martin Luther for today's episode but the rights holder filed a claim which got the video blocked. It's a pretty clear 'fair use' case so we are disputing the claim. In the meantime, we'll have a different episode out for you this afternoon and hopefully the Martin Luther video will be freed from detainment for next week.
