Pacific Education Institute (PEI) is dedicated to advancing science literacy and deepening student engagement by empowering educators to teach real-world science outdoors. Through our award-winning FieldSTEM® Model, we develop the skills of educators to take students outside to learn real-world science as well as to bring real-world science back to the classroom and integrate it with other subjects. Our work supports K-12 teachers and students in meeting Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Common Core for math and English language arts through project-based and place-based education that is relevant and engaging.
