More flexibility added to the mid-roll ad settings for live streams:
-‘Take a Break Ads’ when you’re stepping away from the stream. Choose between 1, 3, or 5 minute breaks, and either a default away message or a custom video to show viewers while you’re gone. Eligible viewers will see ads when available during the break.
-‘Side-by-side ads’ run alongside the live stream, allowing creators to run mid-roll ads with less disruption. This type of ad will show automatically on eligible streams that have YouTube’s recommended automatic mid-roll ad setting enabled.
Automated mid-rolls are optimized to limit disruption to Channel Members when creators select the “Let YouTube Decide” option.
