Message title: Breaking Free from Deception and Claiming Your Worth.
Scripture Reading: Genesis 30:25-43 (Read the passage)
I. The Context of Jacob and Laban's Relationship. Jacob, a man chosen by God, found himself entangled in a web of deceit and exploitation at the hands of his uncle, Laban. After serving Laban for many years, initially for the love of Rachel but being deceitfully given Leah instead, Jacob continued to work tirelessly, building Laban's wealth but receiving little in return. This brings us to our first lesson:
II. Recognize and Break Free from Deceptive Environments .
Jacob's story reminds us that there comes a time when we must break free from deceit and manipulation. Verse 25 captures a pivotal moment: "Send me away, that I may go to my own place and to my country." Jacob realized that he could no longer thrive under Laban's deceit. Similarly, we must recognize when we are in toxic environments, whether in our workplaces, relationships, or any other aspects of life. God calls us to integrity and truth, not to remain in places where deceit reigns.
III. Know Your Worth and Demand Fairness.
In verses 26-30, Jacob boldly states his worth: "Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, and let me go; for you know my service which I have done for you." Despite Laban's attempts to underpay and undervalue him, Jacob knew the immense contribution he made. This teaches us that we should not be afraid to assert our worth. God sees the value in us, even when others do not. Employers, family members, and friends may sometimes take us for granted, but God reminds us to stand firm and claim what is rightfully ours.
IV. The Blessing of Integrity.
Laban acknowledged in verse 27 that he was blessed because of Jacob: "I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake." This is a testament to the power of integrity. Even when others deceive us, our commitment to honesty and hard work brings blessings. Our true value is measured not by how others treat us but by how God sees us. Let us be channels of God's blessings, regardless of the recognition we receive from people.
V. Strategic Wisdom in Facing Deceit.
Jacob's actions in verses 31-42, where he devises a plan to ensure he receives his fair share of the livestock, illustrate the need for wisdom and strategy. Jacob knew he had to outsmart Laban’s continuous attempts to exploit him. This is not a call to deceit but to wise and strategic thinking in the face of injustice. Jesus teaches us to be "wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16). In our dealings, let us seek God's wisdom to navigate through challenges with integrity.
VI. God's Provision and Prosperity.
Finally, verse 43 shows the result of Jacob's actions: "Thus the man became exceedingly prosperous, and had large flocks, female and male servants, and camels and donkeys." When we walk in integrity, recognize our worth, and wisely navigate deceit, God blesses us abundantly. Prosperity is not just about material wealth but includes peace, fulfillment, and spiritual growth.
Conclusion: Jacob’s journey teaches us profound lessons. We must recognize and break free from deceitful environments, assert our worth, maintain our integrity, and seek God's wisdom in our dealings. As we do this, God’s blessings will follow. Let us pray for the courage to stand firm in our convictions and for the wisdom to navigate through life’s challenges.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the lessons from Jacob’s life. Give us the strength to break free from deceit, the courage to claim our worth, and the wisdom to act with integrity. Bless us as we seek to honor You in all our dealings. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Go in peace and let the light of God guide you through every step in Jesus name Amen!

HAVING A KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE
read the following scriptures for more understanding of this, Matthew 13:24-52 , Matthew 20:1-60 ,Matthew 22:1-40, Matthew 25:1-30, Hebrews 12 :28 , Matthew 7 :21, Matthew 26 :10, Luke 11: 2 -4 , Luke 12:29 -3 2,
Of all the topics in the word of God that Jesus taught about, He had more to say about the topics of The Kingdom than pretty Much any other topic .If it was as important to Him to teach so often about it then it ought to be important to us as well !
The Kingdom is mentioned and taught about many times throughout the Gospel as well as other parts of the New Testament. The kingdom of God is synonymous with the Kingdom of heaven and Jesus taught that we should have a Kingdom perspective and keep The Kingdom in mind in all we do .
So what is The Kingdom and what is a Kingdom perspective and how do we keep a Kingdom perpective? The aim of this meeting today is to briefly provide answers to these questions and help us to be Kingdom minded people instead of earthly minded people .
what is The Kingdom? Here are four aspect of the Kingdom:
1. God's Reign over the universe.
2.God's Spiritual Reign over those whose hearts are His . If you are born again , you are part of God's Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is a spiritual rule over the hearts and lives of those who willingly submit to God's authority.
3. God's millennial reign mentioned in The Book of Revelation.
4. God's reign in heaven. God's Kingdom is an unshakable Kingdom. In Hebrews 12:28 says this about The Kingdom....." therefore let us be grateful for receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe.
