For many years, some of my weather/thunderstorm videos have had a distinct high-pitch noise in them. This is due to the mic driver/sensor design in the Kodak Zi8 cameras used to film the weather. It was also an issue with the older Zi6 cameras I used many years ago. Good news - I've recently figured out how to eliminate that irritating noise without sacrificing the audio quality of the videos using my video editor. My storm uploads starting from the May 21 2025 late night storms have had this fix applied, and moving forward, it will be applied to new videos.

Many have asked about the opening clip that's been featured in my storm videos for several years now... It's from my parents house on their patio porch and is from 2015...
