Senior Draftsman Caught Accepting Bribe in Mahabubabad District
A Senior Draftsman in the office of the Assistant Director, Survey & Land Records, Mahabubabad district, was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while accepting a bribe of ₹20,000 on Thursday.
The accused,. Kalangi Jyothi Kshema Bai, was apprehended by ACB officials from the Warangal unit around 12:35 PM at the office of the Inspector, Survey & Land Records, Mahabubabad. She had allegedly demanded the bribe to issue the Tippan record pertaining to land being purchased by the complainant and his relative in Gummuduru village, Mahabubabad mandal.
A chemical test conducted on the accused’s left-hand fingers and the surface of the left-side upper drawer of her office table yielded positive results for bribe contact. The ACB officials recovered the bribe amount of ₹20,000 from the same drawer.
. Kalangi Jyothi Kshema Bai was arrested and will be produced before the Special Court for SPE & ACB Cases-cum-III Additional District & Sessions Judge in Warangal.
