No new video today. I've been struggling with a bad sinus infection and wasn't able to film/record anything usable. I'll be back next week with episode 4 of the Sojournal. A quick preview:
It isnāt the image of books burning thatās burned into our minds after reading "Fahrenheit 451" - itās the image of the firemen with flame throwers. Firemen are supposed to show up with fire hoses. Theyāre supposed to be the heroes that save, not the villains that destroy. Clarisse McClellan, late night walker, reader of forbidden books, and questioner of authority states as much when she poses the peering question to Montag: āIs it true that long ago firemen put fires *out* instead of going to start them?ā

This channel is going to be resurrected in one week. Tune in Tuesday, July 18th for the first episode of āThe Sojournalā, a new weekly video series. Itās part memoir, part meditation, part fireside chat, all sculpted through signature prose. Iāll be writing and speaking about what Iāve always felt prompted to write and speak about - the human experience of spiritual beings.
Each episode will be 15-30 minutes in duration, and each is going to be a chapter of a book that I will be publishing next year. The book will also include much of the poetry that Iāve written, including poems that never made it into production, and some essays that will be exclusive to the book.
