(please click to read the caption on the photo!) these videos were posted a year ago today on february 8th 2020. i never in a million years would imagine this ever happening to me and i am more than grateful! 🙏 when i posted these videos i didn’t think they would do well as none of my videos before that really did 🤷♀️ i had around 150 subscribers and could only dream about blowing up. and then i did. and it was the craziest, most exciting thing to happen!! gaining over 75,000 subscribers and over 40,000,000 views on my channel overall IN A YEAR!!! (WHAT?!! 😳😭) there are no words to describe how i feel (i’m still so shocked 🥺)! thank you so much for all the support on these vids and my channel! i cannot thank you enough 🥰 we’ve achieved so much together since without you it wouldn’t have been possible! i love every single one of you! 💕💕

as i’m sure you all know by now, george floyd has unfortunately been killed recently by police. (and many, many others over the years). this is truly heartbreaking as this is all based on skin colour and race. it’s so pathetic. i’ve seen so many posts on instagram about police brutality towards black people and it really saddens me 😔. you may not know but i am black myself and even though i don’t live in america where the worst of it happens, that isn’t an excuse for me not to talk about it or be educated to the best of my ability (or for anyone). white people need to understand their privilege!! i watched a video today of how black people have to react to police vs white people and it brought me to tears 😭 it’s just blatantly wrong how unequal people get treated because of how they were born!! what really annoys me is when someone posts or tweets #BlackLivesMatter and someone comments/replies with All Lives Matter. we never said they didn’t but they don’t until black lives do and this is something people need to learn. so keep posting and spreading the word as much as possible. #BLM ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

okay so i need some help/suggestions. first of all i wanna say a massive THANK YOU FOR 62K+ SUBSCRIBERS!!! that is so crazy and when i really think about it and process it i’m like wow! 🤩💜💜
although i’m not sure if the content i’m posting is what you’re enjoying as the sub to view ratio doesn’t really make sense for my channel (my subs are higher yet my views are lower and i’ve seen lots of youtubers have the same issue). i’m not complaining AT ALL! i’m so grateful for everything you guys have done for me but i’m asking the question, what did you subscribe for?
i know most of my subscribers came from the tik tok mashup videos but unfortunately now i can’t post anything with copyright as i don’t want to get striked as this could effect my channel. so if you comment tik tok mashups then i’ll probably just delete your comment 🤧. of course i will continue the editing tutorial videos as i know lots of people like them and find them helpful but what other ideas do you have? this could be a singular video idea or different kind of videos you want to see.
