Last night i started to attach the railings to HMS Bristol . To be honest i had completely forgot i had gone to give her a varnish and suddenly realised they weren't there . They got a prime on the sprue and i will paint them when attached . Regards Gav.

Painted more , the holster , shovel , respirator strap , made a start on the pistol and water bottle and the cammo smock (nearly forgot that one) . Used the non metallic method to represent the metal parts . That's using greys and whites and a few other colours . Regards Gav.

Just detail work on the jacket to finish . The ammo belt still needs a couple of highlights on the link that's on his pistol shoulder . Did his belt (the buckle has really soft detail hard to pick out) and did the cleaning kit pouch . The pistol and any straps you see have a base on them because i had spare paint to use up . I just wanted to show those who are interested another sketch i have painted on the water proof trousers . I paint the darkest shadow area first the the lightest high lights then join them up with a mid tone . I doesn't matter how patchy it looks what it gives you is a base and a good idea where you want to place your next lot of paint . Regards Gav.
