I will be categorising OS Mockups videos uploaded after 2025 into 2 formats: the OSM Neo format, which will either be a timeline of a fictional OS with occasional UIs or just a single mockup in one video, and the OSM Classic format, which is the format used for prior episodes of my OSM series.

Even though I promised to finish OSM 8.5, I decided that I lost motivation in traditional generic OSM episodes and is slated for temporary cancellation starting today until around the start of 2025 to focus on a new OSM-related video format.

In the year 520,000,000 AD, the Solar system was affected by the rising luminosity of the Sun, effectively regressing the system's technological progress back to the 1970s and 1980s, splitting away from the broader Dominion of Humanity. As the Solar system makes its own civilization apart from the Dominion of Humanity, tech progress was 2x slower than around 520 million years prior (1970s-2100s) and the Earth also became uninhabitable due to the nuclear war which turned the planet into a warzone. Many were evacuated to other systems throughout the universe.
