I hope the new year finds you well. I have successfully upgraded my system and I am currently rushing to get all of my software sorted out. I appreciate everyone's patience and I want you to know that I will be back as soon as possible. If I had to guess I'd put it around a week, but if I am able to get anything out faster, you know I'm going to do that. This might not be fun right now, but it will soon pay off.

I am pleased to announce the release of the Po8 Ultima IV HQ Remake Music Mod. Now you can play Ultima IV with my version of the soundtrack for absolutely free. Detailed instructions have also been provided to use the voice-over mod that fully voices the dialog of Ultima IV. Special thanks to Xerardo and Karl for their efforts bringing this mod to fruition.

Pieces of 8-Bit breathes new life into old music. I am dedicated to faithfully restoring retro video game music for your enjoyment, for educational purposes, and for posterity. I am passionate about retro gaming because I lived it, and the songs I hummed along to as I played became the reason I am a musician today. This channel is my way of giving back -- it is an homage to those composers who changed my life.
My focus is on games from the late 70s to the late 90s. I try to keep things as accurate to the original as possible, with the aim of remaking the soundtrack in the way I believe the original composer would have done it if they had the technology of today.
