My Channel will consist of clips of historically preserving a couple early Historic Farmsteads. I will hopefully be posting a video every few weeks. I purchased the Farmhouses in Essex, NY in the beautiful Champlain Valley. Fixing up these old vernacular Country Farmsteads is a labor of love. We tried to keep the old fabric and patina of the structures with giving respect to the craftsmen that built them over 225 years ago. This consisted of reusing as much of the original material and rebuilding in the traditional way. I would also like to create videos to document Country Farmstead Americana that is vanishing from our landscape. Everything from the antique built environment to folksy ways people lived when small farms were dominant. The videos are amateur clips I made with my iphone and are raw and of the moment.
