Oh, Zeo continues at www.patreon.com/MistareFusion with that time Kimberly breaks up with Tommy via letter so that the show can have an excuse to go on a ski vacation. What's that? Ohranger footage? Ehhhh, just throw it in wherever. Also throw in a VR Trooper, why not. It's time for the Power Rangers three-parter cobbled together from two unrelated Ohranger episodes. Can things get any more confusing? It's There's No Business Like Snow Business vs. Submit: The Refrigerator of Love and Suddenly!! A Traitor. Check it out now a week early and ad-free as a $10+ patron, and please accept my thanks for your awesome support!

It's surreal to think I'm actually here. Battle of Gods didn't even exist when I started making Dragon Ball Dissection videos. And now I'm finally here, in "modern" Dragon Ball, at www.patreon.com/MistareFusion . It's the beginning of Beerus, the beginning of new hair colors, and the beginning of what will become Dragon Ball Super. What did Toriyama bring to the table? Does the movie still hold up? It's time for an extremely deep dive. You can enjoy it, a week early and ad-free as a $10+ patron. Thank you so much for your support!

Oh, Zeo continues our summer of movies at www.patreon.com/MistareFusion with a look at the Ohranger movie that got turned into a regular old Power Rangers episode. Being light on story but heavy on action, does this prove to be the perfect thing for America to adapt? All that and Rocky sending the girl of his dreams running away screaming? What more could we want? Check it out a week early and ad free in any of the support tiers $10 or higher. Thanks so, so much for your support!

Not to be outdone by Taiwan and Korea, the good old U.S. of A decided to try their hand at a Dragon Ball movie. How did it turn out? Well, um... hey, all of you angry commenters finally get a video where I say "Bulma." Aren't you excited? No, but for real, there's a lot to break down about this movie, emphasis on breaking. Check it out over at www.patreon.com/MistareFusion a week early and ad free as a $10+ patron. Thank you so, so much for your support.

It's ultimately not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but I wanted to get your opinion. When I did the Plan to the Eradicate the Saiyans video in 2020, I ended up giving it a then-unique label of Dragon Ball Dissection Gaiden. I wanted to distinguish it as existing outside the mainline Dragon Ball Dissection topics, and since the game itself was called Dragon Ball Gaiden, it seemed appropriate. Then I shoved the finished video into the DBD Movies and Specials playlist because there was no more appropriate place to put it. Now that I've built up a collection of off-the-beaten-path Dragon Ball works under the Gaiden label (the prototypes, Dr. Slump '97, Neko Majin, the other live-action movies), I'm considering splitting those out into their own playlist.

What I'm wondering, though, is where do you think Dragonball Evolution belongs? Should it go with Gaiden or go with Movies and Specials under the mainline DBD branding? On the one hand, it is an officially licensed Dragon Ball movie. It's not a bootleg. It's not from another series. On the other hand, it is very much a side story in that it is not connected to any major DB continuity. It's certainly not counted among the "real" movies. So where do you think it should go?

So a little while ago I posted a poll asking whether I should return the original music to The Boo Arc videos now that the copyright heat was off of them. You might have noticed I've once again been quiet on the topic since then. Well, aside from being really busy making new videos, that's because, as you might have noticed me mention in the most recent DBD, copyright flags against Dragon Ball Dissection videos have reared their ugly heads again. As of right now, most of the Piccolo and 23rd Budoukai videos have been hit, and it just came back to me today that my disputes against them were rejected.

Because of that, I'm probably going to leave The Boo Arc videos alone, leaving the mix of original and replaced openings unless something else changes. I'm really not in the mood for any more heat. I hope you understand. As much as the poll results favored the return of the Kikuchi opening in all the remaining videos, I was happy to see how many people had developed a soft spot for "Smokey's Lounge" and didn't want to see it go. In that regard, leaving things as they are now continues to be the best compromise, so that both openings are available to everybody.

What's this?! Surprised you over at www.patreon.com/MistareFusion didn't I? Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is turning 30, so this seemed like the perfect time to resurrect Mighty Morphin Zyurangers once more. We take a look at how the movie adapted Power Rangers to the silver screen, and also how it in turn was adapted back into the series that spawned it. What set up season 3 better, the movie or the show? Check it out now, a week early and ad free as a $10+ patron! Thanks so much for your support. It means the world to me.

Alright! Let's make like a pig and fire a Kamehameha. Meet me here on YouTube Sunday night at 8 pm EDT just like last year's Donkey Kong 64 video, and we'll watch the new Dragon Ball Dissection together! I'll put out a post with a link to the premiere earlier in the day on Sunday. I think this is going to be a lot of fun to watch together. I can't wait to see what you think of it!

Over at www.patreon.com/MistareFusion it's the Dragon Ball Dissection I never knew I needed. Now that I've seen these movies, I don't know if my poor psyche can forget them. A cowboy Yamcha and a Kamehameha-firing Oolong are just the tips of the iceberg when creative forces unrelated to Dragon Ball try to make a Dragon Ball. But amid the low production values and barely recognizable characters, is there actually some hidden genius on display? Check out this massive 37-minute-long Dragon Ball Dissection a week early and ad-free as a $10+ patron. Thank you so, so much for your support. I had a lot of fun making this one, so I hope you like it! Like with Donkey Kong 64, I might release this one as a premiere next Sunday night. That might be a fun way to celebrate 30,000 subscribers, for all of us to watch this together. Let me know what you think!
