Hi guys! This week's video was supposed to be a video in Spanish, but I spent all afternoon yesterday filming it and I'm just not happy with it - I can't put my finger on why, I think maybe because I chose questions that were too similar to each other, but it just doesn't have the vibes I want hahaha
Typical perfectionist me, I know - I went to refilm today but I got home from my internship a lot later than planned, and I don't want to rush it!
SO, I'm going to film it on Sunday and it'll hopefully be with you either Sunday evening or Monday evening - and then there'll be the final weekly vlog in Seville on the following Saturday, followed by a very exciting travel vlog the week after!

Hi guys!
Posting this at midnight my time because Iām getting all stressed about what you guys might think and I just want to get it off my chest!
Iāve got quite a few sponsored videos coming up in the next 3 weeks - normally I always try and make sure ads arenāt in every single video and spread them out evenly!
But because I was out of action for the best part of November (thanks covid) all the brands I had planned to work with in November had to be pushed unexpectedly to December, meaning that this month there will be more than I would usually do.
Of course I only work with brands that I think offer something you guys will really benefit from, but I know some people get annoyed when ads appear too often.
I hope you can understand and I apologise if it annoys you - but i hope you know itās not a case of me āonly uploading when I am sponsoredā, rather just covid messing up my carefully planned video schedule ššš

Have had to make todayās video private as Iām out right now but for SOME STUPID REASON youtube editor first put the blur box I wanted over one thing all over my video and then when I reverted it completely unsynced the video from the audio

Hi guys,
I hope this message gets out to enough people. I'm sure you've all seen the events in Minneapolis, where George Floyd, an unarmed African-American man, was killed at the hands of a police officer. I am sure you all share my disgust and outrage at what has happened, and I hope you are as keen as me to learn more and educate yourself on how you can do more.
So instead of uploading a video this Saturday I'm going to go live on here at 8:30 for an hour to do a fundraising live stream where we can talk openly about these issues, educate one another and talk about the racism that is entrenched not only in the US, but across the world and in our own country, the UK.
I'm hoping to speak with some black people about their own experiences if they are willing, and to put together a bank of useful resources we can all make use of to learn more and know how to take more meaningful action.

Hello hello,
I would normally broach this in a video but Iām currently in the middle of the French Alps with no camera equipment and I didnāt want my response on here to be delayed too much! Iām not sure how many people will see this as I donāt use this feature too often but Iāll give it a go!
My recent story time seems to have completely polarised response - infact, Iāve never seen opinion so divided on any video Iāve ever uploaded in my 5 years on YouTube! I am aware I donāt do storytimes often, theyāre not part of my ābrandā so to speak - theyāre not videos I usually film but this video was very heavily requested on my Berlin vlog and on every video after that so I decided to film it.
Iām very aware that I made a mistake with the initial title - I changed that when people suggested that i did. However, having spoken to numerous people I decided to keep the video up. That being said - all the revenue for this video is being put in the account I had already set up for my New Year fundraiser. In July when I uploaded my video opening up about my own struggles with mental health, I made a pledge to myself that I would do an update on my situation 6 months later and make it into a chance to raise money for a mental health charity chosen by you guys in a poll. Given the response Iāve received on this video Iāll be adding the money from this video onto whatever we manage to raise at the end of December.
I would, however, stop and urge you to consider the line between constructive criticism and being rather cruel. Some comments sought to point out where they thought i could have improved in a respectful way. Others resorted to calling me a ābitchā, telling me to delete my channel and some rather horrible threats. Whilst I appreciate that people are well within their rights to give me feedback on this video, regardless of whether I agree or disagree, attacking me so personally and so rapidly for a video OBVIOUSLY not filmed with bad intentions in mind is practicing the opposite of what you purport to be preaching to me. To those of you who voiced their opinions with respect, thank you. To those of you who felt the need to be malicious, please consider the impact this can have.
Thatās the end of my comments on this - to those who found fault with the video, I apologise profusely for any upset I caused and will take your comments on board. To those of you who thought the video was dealt with well and tried to deflect the really malicious comments, I really appreciate you.
Any of you who have watched me for any amount of time will know that I would never ever make a storytime with bad intentions - hope this clears this up and see you next week with an another video and more details about the fundraiser! š«

Hi guys,
Just popping on here to have an honest chat - not sure how many people will see this but Iām really not in the position to make a video talking about it. I decided to vlog my time at university in order to show you guys what life at uni is like, but after this last term I have decided to stop. For a few reasons:
1. whilst I am lucky enough to receive many many lovely comments, this term Iāve received so so so many comments that have slowly and insidiously taken a toll on my mental health: I am someone who is extremely self critical and the constant criticism of every aspect of my uni lifestyle has really started to make me dislike myself which I donāt think is healthy.
2. I am a normal human, a normal student who makes mistakes and is learning to balance everything: Oxford terms (this isnāt me saying oxford is any better than other unis just to clarify) are SO compressed and intense that itās very hard to manage your social life with a work load and with a YouTube channel. Everyone else at uni lives a similar lifestyle yet I feel like a lot of the comments seem very targeted at me which then makes me question myself every day.
3. I have exams next term and so do many of you, so I feel like moving back towards revision and study videos will benefit us both.
4. As lovely as it is to be able to look back on my time at uni, the constant pressure that documenting and publicising every day of my life and trying to make the vlogs interesting (ironic that when I do try to make them interesting I just get told I go out too much) has made me ill and tired both physically and mentally, and I know it would not be wise to carry them on.
So to conclude, I have a couple of prefilmed videos already scheduled BUT other than that Iām going to take a break and Iāll be back with normal sit down videos in a couple of weeks, but Iām off on work experience in London for the next 2 weeks and quite frankly I need some time away from YouTube as itās made me feel incredibly isolated from myself as a person. Whilst most of the comments are definitely well intentioned, i can imagine that any uni student who put their life online like I have would find it just as difficult.
