Here is a video of the Jazz Overhaul performance on āŖ@knkxā¬ Public Radio for their live Studio Session series on 88.5 FM, hosted by Abe Beeson. It was a blast and the video looks AWESOME! We performed all Seattle grunge music: "Would?" (Alice In Chains), "Black Hole Sun" (Soundgarden), and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (Nirvana). Enjoy!
Jazz Overhaul had been nominated in this year's Earshot Jazz 2023 Golden Ear Awards for NW Alternative Jazz Group of the Year. If you'd like to vote to support us, we've included a link. Thank you so much! More jazz grunge videos are on the way! š· bit.ly/earshot-awards-2023
The poster for the 1992 filmĀ SinglesĀ inspired the Jazz Overhaul photoshoot, and the film's soundtrack makes up much of our repertoire. Kassandra Morrow did an AMAZING job designing the poster!!
