We would like to introduce you to Cecil E. Barncord. He died in the Pearl Harbor attack inside the Battleship USS Oklahoma. The attack on the USS Oklahoma occurred during the Japanese assault on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The battleship was hit by multiple torpedoes launched from Japanese aircraft, causing severe damage. The Oklahoma capsized within minutes, trapping many crew members inside. Out of a crew of around 1,300, 429 were killed. The attack on the USS Oklahoma was one of the most devastating moments of the Pearl Harbor assault, highlighting the intense and widespread nature of the surprise attack that led the United States to enter World War II. Finally after 80 years Cecil's remains were identified with DNA testing. He was transferred to Portland OR. from Hawaii and finally laid to rest at Swofford Cemetery near Mossyrock, Wa. Max Productions TV was honored to attend his beautiful Memorial and wanted to present a video this Saturday Aug. 3rd in honor of Cecil, his family and friends from so long ago.
