I'm all about cultures, language learning, music, family, and following Jesus Christ. Come along for the ride as I explain the things that matter to me!
I'm grew up in little Starr Valley, Nevada; served my mission in beautiful New Zealand; and am a recent graduate of BYU-Hawaii. I LOVE the islands of the Pacific, and I married the dreamiest islander around. His name is Timeon (pronounced Simeon), and he grew up on an outer island of the tiny, Micronesian nation of Kiribati. He can climb coconut trees, kill octopus with his teeth, and eat rice and fish like nobody's business! (He's also pretty good at accounting.)
I recently graduated with BA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and now I've started my TESOL Ed. master's program online. I teach English classes at BYUH and I LOVE my students, and in my free time, you can catch me singing, practicing the piano, playing board games, and enjoying the beach!
