So...I am quitting commenting. But not for the reason you think.

I have noticed that commenting in general this month has gone downhill. There are people accusing and getting accused of dislike bombing, more people wanting handleless just so they can have higher sub growth, its so much at this point it's getting really annoying, and people are noticing. I have noticed now comment growth is not the same as it used to be, nor will it ever be. People are starting to dislike comments because they are tired of them being written by the same people, all the time. Commenting used to be fun, now it's a competition with handle dealing.

The doxxing is far from the only scummy thing I did as a commenter. I have to admit I acted super childish with my posts. I have given birth to a new age of commenters with my vast video pings, and my "revolutionary" new handle.

And I will take the first step in solving my issues.

I have already hidden video pings from both of my servers that had them, and I will be changing my handle back shortly. ‪@TheYouTubeCommentPatrol‬

I thought that maybe that situation was the thing that demoted me, so I left. The image below adds context. Also, me myself cannot verify, so take this with a grain of salt.

This really has been a bad week for commenters...
