The pair of hands does nothing for now, letting the team attack it. Dexter keeps shooting, Lemoni scatters the bait, Mushroom Painter makes a painting of Larry, and Buckethead picks up the knife and stabs one of the hands with it.
However, once everyone's done with their turns, THAT'S when the hands decide to act. They present the team with two sets of three potions each. The team must choose one of the sets of potions, then decide how many of the potions they want to take and who will drink them. One set has a positive effect, while the other set has a negative effect.

Buckethead quickly takes Mushroom Painter's mirror just before one of the hands comes crashing down onto the latter as well as Dexter and Lemoni. All three victims survive the hit, though. Then, the team fights back. Disco Zomber2 tries to provide ranged support, but only one of his shots hits. Dexter, on the other hand can really make a difference; he fires six shots and only one of them misses. Lemoni gets up close and personal, latching onto one of the hands and punching it like there's no tomorrow. A knife appears.

@Mr_Lemon_the_lemon took initiative to command everyone.
The pair of hands decides that it has personal beef with Hammy. One of the hands curls into a fist and smashes him, killing him before everyone else's very eyes. All is not lost, though; the team still has five unscathed characters left. Mushroom Painter paints a mirror; that might be useful later on. Lemoni feels personally attacked by Hammy's untimely demise and pulls out some corrupted bait. That'll teach this pair of hands to be careful with who it picks on...
The others scatter around to minimize the chances of them hitting each other.

This is Sal, Kar, and Mel, a trio of zomboids who don't want to believe that they're zomboids. They all hate not technically being plants or zombies, and they always feel disliked and unwanted. They are neutral; they're not affiliated with Conehead or Buckethead. Kar is the one with the carrot on his head, and Mel is the one with the melon on his head.
