HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Some of you may have noticed, I changed the channel icon and banner a few days ago. The channel info is updated as well, be sure to check it out!
Also, the mashup suggestion form is updated too! The link is the same as the old one, which you can find in the channel info and video description. Please continue to send your ideas of mashup, I'll try my best to make them! Still, not all of them will be made, subject to availability, so please understand!
As for New Year's resolution, I hope the channel won't received another copyright strike, and reach 4000 subs this year!
One last thing, I haven't make new mashups yet and it'll be a little while before I make new ones!

Well... I really don't want to talk about this but I think I have to
So, yesterday 2 of my mashups got deleted by MUSO TNT LTD (acting on behalf of Nintendo of America Inc.). Specifically, "Athletic" from Yoshi's Island, both 2 tracks and 3 tracks version were taken down. I also received a copyright strike from it.
In fact, there's another mashup got removed by the same company earlier this year, and that's "SM64 Peach Castle" 2 tracks mashup. Luckily the updated version with 6 tracks is still here and the copyright strike from it has already expired, so right now I have ONE strike.
It's very frustrating that this happened to me twice this year, and there's nothing I can do about it. I mailed them before but got denied easily. The best I can do it to reupload them on SoundCloud, which I already did. Check it out if you want to: soundcloud.com/willie-chen-540895177
Now, if I get one more strike within 3 months, then I have no choice but to take extreme action. If that unfortunately happens, I'll delete ALL OF THE VIDEOS on the channel (making them private won't work I believe) and reupload them to another channel. I really don't want to do this because this action is time-consuming and it's irreversible. However I don't want to get banned either because this account is associated with 4 channels. So, hope you understand the situation and sorry for the inconvenience.
But anyway... I still have a lots of mashups scheduled before 2025 so stay tuned!

I've been playing Paper Mario TTYD remake and so far it's very good! I'm planning to do TTYD mashups after I beat the game, and there may not be new video until then, sorry about that!

This channel reached 3000 subscribers! Thank you all so much for supporting my work on VGM mashups! I will make a special mashup to celebrate it, but I'm not decided what to do yet, so give me some time!

Sorry to keep you waiting! "Super Mario RPG: Original + Remake Mashup" playlist is finally complete...for now! The playlist currently consists of 35 music and will be released one by one starting from the next video. I know I'm still missing some, but I also want to do more viewer requests, so for now I won't be doing more mashups from Super Mario RPG until I feel like it.
After all mashups from Super Mario RPG are released, I'll do general mashups from Mario and Kirby series.

Hi everyone! Here's a quick announcement about future plans for VGM mashup.
Over the next few months, I'll be making 2 new playlists: Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Super Mario RPG!
1. Super Mario Bros. Wonder: This playlist include all themes that have multiple layer of tracks (Normal, Elephant, Rhythm, Badge1 and Badge2), and all layers will be mixed together. The playlist consists of 16 music and will be released starting from the next video.
2. Super Mario RPG: As you might expect, I'm going to mix the original and remake soundtracks together. Not all of the them though, as there're so many and I have to drop some. The playlist consists of over 30 music and it's far from complete yet, so you have to wait for a little longer.
As for general mashups such as Mario Kart and Kirby series, they will be paused until at least one of the new playlists completed. Sorry for the inconvenience, but you can still drop suggestion via the form as usual.

As I said in the last post, I won't be making new mashups for a while. However, I plan on redoing 5 of my old mashups before the end of 2023! Since I often get comments saying I missed some tracks, now is your chance to let me know which mashups I should redo!
I updated the suggestion form by adding a new section called "Redo Old Mashup". All you have to do is enter the video link (obviously it has to be my video) and the tracks that you want me to add.

By the way, after the 500th mashup, I'm going to take a break from making new mashups to focus on my irl stuff, so there may be no new videos in December (or very few, we'll see).
