YOURSELF is a flute and guitar duo, sometimes appearing with drums and other instruments.Since its beginning in 1979,YOURSELF has dedicated itself to finding new directions for flute and guitar music, concentrating on jazz-rock and exploritory sounds. Since 1988, YOURSELF has produced and hosted a cable access show in San Diego, "YOURSELF presents:an original music showcase" which features local original musicians of any musical style.
"somebody Else" is a side project involving Howard and Bill Wesley, a musical instrument inventor (who also does the light shows seen on most YOURSELF videos). Bill and Howard, and whoever else plays at the time, do improvisational instrumentals with Howard on guitars (and electric sitar) and Bill -playing his "Array" instruments which he has invented.
