I was humbly reminded yesterday that our couples’ vision for their wedding day is more important than our personal vision.
In an ideal world, the two visions are in alignment. However, at the end of the day, we’re there to serve and make our couples’ dream wedding day a reality by their standards, not ours.
This isn’t meant to be a downer - it’s actually pretty exciting. It’s a reminder of what we signed up for as wedding photographers. We agreed to tell THEIR story, not ours.

Pro Tip: When you’re breaking in a new second camera, make sure the date/time is in sync with your OG camera. I forgot to do this and now my post production workflow is off 🙃
