l opened my eyes to the harsh glow of fluorescent lights, my head pounding with the echoes of a nightmare that refuses to fade. Memories scatter like dust, and I can't piece together how I got here. Is this real, or am I still trapped in some twisted dream? My footsteps sound too loud, and the uniformity of everything is disorienting. I think this is what l've been reading about.. they call it the backrooms. I don't know what level l've landed in or what comes next. If you can read this, please write back.
