With the introduction of an automated scarfing robot system for radome repairs, Dr. Henrik Schmutzler and his colleagues tried to accomplish two goals at the same time: relieving maintenance crews from the stressful overhead grinding tasks and simultaneously heightening efficiency thanks to the automated process that allows for of much higher repair volume in the same amount of time. Following his introduction in part one, Henrik continues his four-part podcast series with this latest report.
