Hey buddies! The past month I got to stay with some friends at their beautiful off-grid cabin. Think gravity fed water system, solar panels galore and a good olโ€™ outhouse. ๐Ÿ˜€

Iโ€™ve been slow on the new videos but this Sunday, Iโ€™ll be sharing an updated tour of the camper! Yay!

I have more editing on the go, but knowing myself, I will continue to be slow over the holiday season. Lol.

Anyway, happy (belated) thanksgiving to my friends in the US! Happy December to everyone else!!

Hello ๐Ÿ˜Š I am watching a Linnea & Akela video as I cook up some dinner on this lovely Wednesday evening and it got me thinking - who else do *you* watch on YouTube? ! I'm curious to find out - share your favourites with me in the comments!

Hiya ๐Ÿ˜ƒ You have left me so many beautiful, kind and heartwarming comments lately and my heart is exploding. I just love reading the memories or big plans shared from your own adventures. Thank you!!

It's been a cool couple of weeks with double uploads thanks to channel sponsors. I super appreciate your support on these and if there is a brand you want me to onboard for some cool discounts - you just let me know and I will do my best to charm them ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I also have a constant stream of Alaska adventures coming your way through Shorts - I hope they bring a little magic or breath of fresh air to your scrolling. ๐Ÿฅฐ

It's me with a new video! ๐Ÿ‘‹ This one is short and sweet, and I almost shed a tear when I finished editing because it is the final video from my first big trip with the camper. Four months and nine videos later.

This late in the trip, I wasn't filming as much and there was definitely *no* thought behind what I did capture. I was left with vertically shot iPhone videos to crop in and random moments to try to make sense of in one video. I worried there wasn't enough context to anything going on in this video.

So, I settled on making a video that would make sense to me. A video that would mean something to me if I were to watch it back ten years later. Fingers crossed that it makes a little sense to you too. ๐Ÿ˜Š

TLDR; This video makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

Choosing music for my videos is my favourite part (and also very time consuming). I feel so successful when someone discovers a new song they enjoy from my vlogs! Sooo - I have made an official playlist on Spotify to keep track of them all.

I often use the instrumental version of songs, which are not always available on Spotify. I am giving it a listen through right now to make sure the lyrical versions pass the "vibe check" too. ๐ŸŽง๐ŸŽถ

Hello dear friend! How is your summer? Last week, I hiked to Floe Lake with my fiancรฉ and our friend Scott. It was very steep on the way up and a blister on my heel appeared very quickly! ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Ryan took some gear out of my backpack to lighten my load and I slowly shuffled my way up the mountain. It was actually really nice to be hiking alone at my slower pace. It made me start thinking about my love for hiking.

It can be difficult to be my own cheerleader when it comes to trying new and difficult things. When it comes to hiking, I have no doubts that if I continue to put one foot in front of the other that I will make it to my destination. It becomes easy to coach myself up the mountain and push through the pain points. If that concept were a muscle, I'd like to think it is being strengthened each time I hike so that it is easier to do with any challenge I face.

I'm sure a scientist would say something about neural pathways being formed.
