Hello my lovelies It’s the first of February 2025 and today’s the day for the new prompt for the Kooky Postcard Sew-a-long! This month’s prompt is FEATHERED FRIENDS.
The only rule for your postcard is that it needs to be 6” x 4”. So quilt, slow stitch, needle felt, machine stitch, hand stitch away! Combine techniques even 🙂 Enjoy!

Introducing the Kooky Postcard Sew-A-Long 2025! This can be done in whichever way you fancy - slow stitched, machine embroidery, quilted or needle felt too! Maybe you want to mix it up and combine techniques.
Every month there will be a prompt to follow - do each month or pick and choose - there are no postcard police :)
The only rule is that the piece should be postcard sized - 4” x 6”. You can do landscape or portrait.
I will be posting a video on my YouTube channel of my interpretation of each prompt at the beginning of every month and I will include a “Round Up Reel” of all the work that you have done. To be included in the Round Up Reel please post a picture of your completed postcard to my Facebook Group or tag me here on Instagram.
You can take the prompt literally or not - there is scope in each one for lots of options.
I’m hoping you will want to join me on the postcard journey!

I've finished up making the slow stitched front pieces for each of the advent tree calendar drawers and now we are onto attaching them, painting the wooden frame and positioning the decorative elements :). Full video tonight at 6pm GMT

The idea is to make a postcard sized piece of stitched art to go with the prompt and post a picture of it so that it can be included in the monthly round up reel.
