OG Das began his singing career at the age of 17 and he sang live in various shows and concerts in Alor Setar. He then proceeded to form the group OG Ooravu Guys in 1998 before again going solo in 2012. He has produced 7 albums with groups and his solo album (the 8th album), SCOOTER VANDI, is produced through his sole efforts with the help of sponsors. His song “Scooter Vandi” was awarded “Best Hip Pop/Rap Song 2013” & “Best Song of the Year for 2013” by AIM Malaysian-Indian Music Awards 2013. And currently receive Malaysia Book of Records awards for “First Tamil Song to have Highest Hits on Youtube”.
