Hello Everyone!
Itās been a busy October. Just wrapped up editing a new Fall themed video for you all, which will be released tomorrow.
Wanted to share this picture of some cute little frogs that have been hanging out in one of our outdoor storage boxes. I havenāt seen them before and was kind of worried about how they would survive with the cold weather coming in.
Did some quick searches online and found out they are Gray Treefrogs. Whatās really odd is that these frogs almost completely freeze solid during the winter! Then when the weather warms up, they thaw out and come back to life. So interesting and so strange!
Hope you all enjoy the new video tomorrow and Happy Halloween!

Hello Everyone,
Weāve got some exciting news! All of our previously released videos have been recorded in our yard. This has presented a number of challenges when trying to record long-form videos. We live near multiple busy roads, which creates lots of traffic noise. There has also been continuing construction and repairs to these roads which causes another set of jarring noises. We have many neighbors, so we try to be respectful of them and not record their houses or yards, which limits the angles and directions we can record. They mow their lawns, do repairs to their homes, and have social gatherings ā all great things, but not good for recording our videos.
Since the start of this channel gaining some popularity a few years ago, Iāve been trying to find a way to solve some of these issues with recording. About a year ago, I acquired the rights to record videos on a piece of property that isnāt our yard. It hopefully solves many of the problems listed above. The location of the property is fairly remote, in the woods, doesnāt have many neighbors, and only has one busy road nearby.
For the past year, when Iāve had free time, Iāve gone out to that property. Thereās no electricity and no running water. (Plenty of mosquitos though!) The owner previously cleared part of the land many years ago and since then lots of small bushes, trees, and other brush have filled in.
Iāve cleared some paths, and installed multiple feeding stations which I have regularly been refilling. This past May is when I first started trying to record videos out there. Iām pretty excited with the results!
It turns out there are tons of animals and the area seems to be a paradise for Eastern Chipmunks! I donāt know what the future for this channel holds, but Iām hoping we might get some good new videos with new scenery and new friends! (Furry and feathered)
We will still continue to keep making videos in our own yard too. This just gives us some more freedom and variety. I donāt have a background in photography or film, so everything is an experiment and a learning process!
As always, a huge āThank You!ā goes out to all of you that watch our videos and share them with your cats, dogs, and other pets!
We hope you enjoy our next video (#43) which will be released tomorrow morning (06/27/2024), it is our first video recorded out there. The image attached to this post is a preview of the scene! Hoping for many new adventures to come!

The channel passed 18,000 subscribers! We appreciate you all that keep coming back to watch our videos. Seems that YouTube has been gradually showing this channel less and less. (Currently at about 40% of the thumbnail impressions we received back in December.) Our return viewers keep this channel going!
Currently working on finishing up a new video (#43) for everyone. It will be our longest video to date! Hopefully, if all goes well, the new video will be out later this week.

Hello Everyone!
It has been some time since last giving a channel update to you all. Itās pretty cool to report that the channel now has over 17,000 subscribers! We really appreciate all of you that continue to watch our videos and interact with us through comments and social media!
Speaking of social media: Iāve ignored Instagram for far too long. When I first set up our Instagram account, the account was instantly banned. I tried going through multiple channels with Instagram to get the obvious error on their end corrected. They didnāt correct the problem and reinstate our account for A YEAR. Since then, Iāve been wary of using the platform. I got back on there today and saw that a bunch of you have been tagging us with pictures and videos for years!
Sorry about that! I hope Iāve responded to most of your posts and comments. Sharing some of your photos below in this post. We even have some canine viewers this time!
Also, a new video (#41) is coming out tomorrow, 04/18/2024. Hope you all enjoy it!

Just wanted to share a screenshot from our latest video: A squirrel leapfrogging over another squirrel! Itās such a quick moment in the video, but the squirrelās face was too cute to not point it out. Todayās video is our last release for 2023. We wish you all Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! We look forward to 2024 and what new adventures and backyard critters it may bring! ā¤

Wanted to thank everyone that took time to vote, or comment, on the last community post about the sound in the videos! It is reassuring to see the variety in the responses and that it seems the videos are largely OK either way. I think it is safe to say there will be more videos coming with more natural audio! For those that prefer the heavily edited audio, Iām sure there will be more of those too. Sometimes itās necessary with the unpredictability of nearby lawnmowers, neighbors, cars, construction equipment, etc.
Currently working on a new video for everybody. Hope you all are having a nice start to your week!

Hello Everyone! A new video (#35) is out today. In this video Iām experimenting with using natural sound again. Iām putting up a poll and Iām curious to know what your opinion is on using natural sound vs. edited sound in these videos?
In the majority of the previous videos on this channel I try to edit out road noise as best I can. Unfortunately, itās an impossible task because we live near multiple busy roads.
The editing of the sound makes the movements and noises of the birds more prominent and higher pitch than in real life, but also somewhat reduces the noise of passing cars. With the natural sound, everything sounds true to life, but the noise of passing cars is more noticeable.
My wife seems to favor the natural sound as she thinks the sounds of passing traffic is similar to the calming effects of brown noise. Our cats donāt seem to have a preference. As the audience, what is your opinion? A good example of a video to compare with edited audio is video #24.
I hope you all enjoy the new video and that you all have a great weekend! Thank you!

My wife recently shared a study with me that came out in 2022 from Kingās College London. The research conducted showed that being able to listen to, or visually see, birds during your day can actively lift your mood for up to multiple hours! I think thatās pretty neat. What do you all think? I hope watching this channel for a little bit might help brighten your day too! āā¤

Channel Update: We have a new video coming out tomorrow that we hope you all will enjoy. We also wanted to sincerely thank everyone for their kind comments to us regarding the passing of our cat, Pete. It was emotional for us as we read through all of your comments. His absence has certainly been an adjustment in our lives. Our other cats have seemed to handle it fairly well and are spending more time with us. Thank you all again and we hope you enjoy the coming weekend!

Welcome to Blue Wind Creations!
On this channel you will find videos of birds, squirrels, and other critters that visit our yard and other locations. If you have an interest in birding or watching wild animals enjoying some food, this may be a good channel for you! Cats love these videos and we hope you enjoy relaxing while watching them too!
All of the videos on this channel are original and unique. We record each video over the course of a day. We go through the footage and edit the full day so that you get to watch all of the good parts with animals present! The audio from each video is edited and enhanced in an attempt to remove road noise and other loud sounds. None of the footage is reused or looped.
If you or your pet enjoys a video, please let us know in the comments section and give it a thumbs up. If you would like to see new videos when they come out, please subscribe to this channel and turn on notifications!
We hope you enjoy this window view to the outside world!
