Just learned Nep Heart has a channel and only found out now. I'm really slow on this stuff.

Hey there, everyone. It's a bit weird for me to actually post here considering most of my fans have moved on and forgotten my existence and even stranger for me to respond to anything Mugen considering I retired out of boredom and to escape the toxic drama.
However, I feel like responding to this particular Mugen drama because a few of my friends have been targeted by it and you don't just mess with my friends. Recently, Nep Heart and Shimmering Brony released a pretty nifty Neptune (I still say Nep's best character is Haruhi, call me bias on that one) which looks like it has similar gameplay to the rest of Nep's stuff. However, instead of meeting the release with celebration and thanks, it got met with scorn and ire... not only towards the character, but also towards the authors themselves. This sector of YT Mugen, which is already extremely toxic to begin with, is mostly made up of self-entitled, ungrateful and narcissistic kiddies who probably never touched a fighting game in their lives nor have made any positive contributions to anything. They're also usually hypocrites seeing as they're guilty for all the things they state in their insults and accusations.
The sad part is practically a sqaud of people like this in this small sector of YT MUGEN persist. I see them as remainders of the old anti "cheap" squad from over a decade ago who go around hunting for "cheap" characters and whine about their supposed "cheapness" while ironically using far cheaper characters for the task. Those kind of people wouldn't know what broken is if it broke their faces in. They also tend to throw "elitists" around if you dare criticize them or rightfully call them out on their bullshit. You know who you exactly are.
I was once like this way back then when I did Mugen (feel free to laugh at my old, shitty videos, they're mostly there as an archive to remind myself of the shithead I once was), but then I grew up, got wise and realized how much of an idiot I once was. Getting into real fighting games also helped nurture my perspective better, which lets you appreciate things you've once opposed in MUGEN.
Will I get back into Mugen? Likely not, but I've been getting back to watching Mugen videos out of nostalgia since there has been a lot of interesting characters this last year or so.. Peace out, my friends.
