Coaching4Change (C4C) was founded on the belief that we can help transform students' school experience through relationships. We know that a lot of schools are having staffing issues that are not going away soon. The C4C near-peer mentoring model has a dual impact (1) provides additional support to students in schools and (2) helps schools build an educator pipeline. We do this by recruiting, training, and placing diverse college students in schools to serve as the following:
• assist teachers / academic aides
• support counselors and staff in implementing restorative practices
• helping administrators with family engagement/outreach
• provide additional enrichment and academic support during out of school time (after-school and summer)
