Well, after a long and extended break from filming and social media, I finally managed to get out and film a camp!
New video up this evening folks - a relaxing little riverside wild camp, keeping it simple with canvas half shelter, woollen sleeping bag, a warm fire and an Australian combat ration pack. I hope you enjoy!

With unmeasurable sadness and a huge hole in our lives, Iām sorry to tell you all that Maggie has passed away.
She was such a joy to my family and I, a loyal, gentle, caring soul with a huge heart and a massive presence. She was my fluffy four legged bush buddy - calmly protecting me, keeping me warm, sharing my steak, doing the dishes, chasing swans, collecting tinder, leaping out of the canoe, filling my boots with drool, but most importantly being just the best company anyone could ever ask for - we had some amazing adventures together over those short few years we shared.
She will always be in my heart and I will always, always miss her. š

Hi folks,
Iām afraid I have had to take down my latest video on water purification. It was brought to my attention that the information on one of the filters in the video was factually incorrect - this was a genuine mistake on my behalf - I have been using this filter (Lifesaver Liberty) for years believing it was effectively removing pesticides and herbicides from my drinking water, however it does not remove soluble contaminants. My conscience could not allow me keep the video live with this misinformation, I will re-edit and get the amended video up as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Andy (Kent Survival) and I are in Sweden and Norway on a big canoe trip, just thought Iād share the view from my hammock this morning - bliss!
Whilst we are over here, there will be a pause in uploads, but rest assured there will be an exciting series of videos coming out of this trip which I hope you all enjoy. Most of you will already know, I am taking part in a sponsored canoe trip along the Great Glen canoe trail in the highlands of Scotland. We are doing fantastically well, weāve just paddled down the River Oich with some fun lumpy rapids and we are all now in Fort Augustus for an hour or so if anybody is about and fancies popping over for a meet up/chat/drop a couple of coins in the tin for the Alzheimerās Society - that would be amazing!! Love to you all!
