Araz Imanov is a distinguished Azerbaijani diplomat, musician, and equestrian, with roots in Karabakh. He maintains a deep connection to the region’s culture and history. Imanov's diplomatic career began in 2006, following his graduation from Northumbria University and concluded in 2023 with the full restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty.
Araz Imanov has collaborated with renowned artists such as Emin Karimi, Keco Brandão, Emil Afrasiyab, Jamil Amirov, Rashad Hashimov, Etibar Asadli, Samir Shirinov, Andrae Alexander, Seven Bailey, Timothy Bailey, Romel Veal, Tarlan Mammadli, Teymur Suleymanbayli and Rasim Muzaffarli. He has held major concerts at the Gubernator's Garden in 2017 and the Green Theatre in 2019, which drew nearly 2,000 attendees, including ambassadors, diplomats and high-ranking officials.
He was the flag bearer during the centenary parade of Baku’s liberation in 2018 and participated in the first Karabakh horse show in Shusha in 2021 after the region’s liberation.
