I had a broken mirror on my Citroen Berlingo the mirror was almost new so I decided a repair would be easier
I used an old black filler spreader 1.Cut the damage more square on mirror casing using a Dremel then cut to shape the spreader to fit casing
2 taking time to fill the gap I use
Epoxy glue to the cutout spreader and mask off good areas so I wouldn’t scratch when rubbing down then
Filled any high areas with JBWeld
3. Rubbed JBWeld down
Then blacked repair
2 hour job
