gonna give an update about the whole pizza party situation, now that i've had time to process everything that happened
to those who decided it would be a good idea to be judgmental or rude towards me or others associated with the mod after its cancellation, going as far as to publicly spread hate on social platforms (you know who you are), i'm going to ask you one thing: do you know what its like to get bombarded by dozens of incredibly parasocial messages and tons of insults from angry players because something that you had anticipated going well hadn't? if your answer is no, you have no right to be disrespectful and i don't owe you anything if you continue to be rude
does this apply to everyone? absolutely not, many of you were incredibly sweet and patient and i'm sorry it all ended in a disaster like that. i'm also sorry to all the people who i confused or left feeling betrayed, but i was absolutely not in the mental space to publicly talk about the situation in depth. hopefully me addressing it now makes up for it slightly, even if i know nothing will truly fix it
will pizza party ever come back? while there is a small chance that one of the team members might be able to pick up from where i left off, i personally won't be spearheading development myself if that happens. i'll work mostly in the background and out of the public eye if such a revival takes place. also, while i am absolutely okay with other online mods being made with inspiration from what pizza party offered, DO NOT MAKE ANY UNOFFICIAL REVIVAL PROJECTS! i won't necessarily be able to stop you, but please have some decency and respect my wishes, thank you
that's about all i had to say, i doubt i'm gonna be around much at all for a while yet as i'm still dealing with the mental burden of the mod's fallout, but i'm glad that people enjoyed pizza tower in the few hours it lasted

a new sugary spire tech has been discovered: long jump instaturns (longstas for short)!
if you press grab, release your current direction and then input jump and the opposite direction on the same frame (yes you can make a multibind for this), you'll instantly turn around and maintain all of your speed!
this is much faster than doing a regular instaturn and will mean that my TAS will have to be reworked from the ground up to include as many as i can, so keep that in mind!

hi everyone, ive got an announcement to make about this channel
after a lot of time to think, i think i'm gonna be wrapping up this channel for good now. it was a fun run while it lasted, but this year has been easily the worst for my mental health and i don't feel like i can commit to making videos in the same way i used to
all of my current videos will still be up but no more new videos will be uploaded here, i'll still stream on twitch but it will remain pretty infrequent
sorry for letting you all down with my empty promises, lack of proper content for close to half a year and general instability, but i hope what i did make helped at least a few people
