Next week's video happens to be pretty on point, but like I said, I don't have a master plan here. This shift will be subtle because even tutorial videos today need some hype in their framing to compete on the platform.
But my goal is to steer the actual substance of my videos-- the content of the content, if you will-- back toward topics that are more likely to have a tangible, positive impact on getting people into the game, or rethinking what they know. But still not every single video because commentary and meme-ing around are fun too.
Some initial ideas:
- What is Dungeons & Dragons? (one video, ultra basic intro to D&D that acknowledges other games exist)
- Tales of the Valiant Starter Set GM Guide (series? rules/adventure breakdowns)
- Shadowdark Quickstart GM Guide (same as above)
- D&D Starter Set DM Guide (same as above)
- Other systems I want to dig into more next year are DCC, Cairn/Into The Odd, Daggerheart, MCDM, DC20...

We knew some of the book would become free (that's part of why I suggested waiting to buy it), but I didn't think we'd be getting THIS MUCH. Just giving away the intro advice for new GMs and the mini adventure prompts is a great! ...Might decide to walk through the adventures in a future video.
