We get to see a new form of BoruShiki. I was right about Code having a big ego. He felt happy or excited to want to fight BoruShiki. So I think he feels BoruShikis power and cuts the Byakugan leading to the eye scar since the headband doesn't come down now so that theory is possible.
I said something about a new form like hollow ichigo in the comments or videos some time ago along with Code cutting his eye due to Boruto's power.
But it's also possible that Kawaki cuts his eye to stop Momoshiki and Boruto might feel betrayed by Kawaki since ep 220 talks about trust so there could be a possible connection since the manga and anime correlate with each other.
