About
A beautiful 270 acre farm on both sides of a gravel road in Halifax, Virginia. Good Hope Equestrian and Regenerative Farm is a 501c3 non-profit and multi-faceted approach to healing community and the Earth. Where healing the soul, and soil come together. On the equestrian side, we believe the Winston Churchill saying "There's something about the outside of a horse that's good for the inside of a human."
Good Hope offers therapeutic riding to the disabled and traditional horseback riding lessons to Halifax county and the surrounding communities.
On the regenerative farming side, where soil health is the cornerstone, we will take you on our journey to becoming stewards of the land. With a U-Pick blueberry operation, rotational grazing of cattle, pasture raised chickens, mushrooms and bee keeping, we will have our plates full. We look forward to sharing our learning experience with you all, and to hopefully inspire folks to do what they can to make the world a better place.
