I am Erika Brown and I love talking about the archeology of the Bible!
The Bible is amazing! And I just want people to appreciate its value culturally and historically. And I get it. That’s hard because we’re so far removed from the Bible by time, by culture, and even by geography.
And what’s crazier is that the Bible was written with the assumption that you do know the time. And that you do know the culture. And that you do know the geography.
And that’s what great about biblical archaeology. Biblical archaeology fills in these tiny gaps and wholes of information that we don’t have.
While I understand that archaeology is not essential to biblical understanding. I do think it is important to know about biblical archaeology, if anything…
