As a Mother, you are doing sacred and significant work in the secret and often unseen spaces of Motherhood.

I did not grasp this concept in Motherhood immediately. It took a wise and experienced parent to gently speak this truth over me.

They saw me seeking purpose in the clumsy and disorienting new "normal" of life with a little one. As I was figuring out what my role for the Kingdom was, now that I was a Mother, they wisely told me, "Motherhood is my ministry".

What they said was simple in nature, yet profoundly impacted my mindset and the trajectory of my Motherhood.

I needed to hear that and settle into this sacred new role I was navigating.

Although there are many ways we each impact the world besides "motherhood," my young Mama heart needed to be reminded of the significant role within my home and embrace it.

I've heard it said that, "Mothers are the hidden strength of the nation." I love the thought of that.

It is a true honor for sure and a beautiful burden as we do Kingdom Work.

"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31
