hello everyone - a couple announcements
we are so close to hitting 30k and youtube rank, so be sure to check if you're subscribed. a lot of ppl think they are subscribed but aren't! i try not to ask for sub too often but we're so close!
and the second thing - i'm planning another 5 cata _ vs _ cata 50s video, so if you're interested at all in getting a chance to be featured in a video and meet these reqs:

lol i just realized i went all of april without a single upload.
imma be venting a bit so this might be a bit long - skip if you dont care.
in all seriousness, it's been a mix of a lack of time and a lack of interest in skyblock. i am at the stage of my life where i cannot just sit down and spend hours playing to max something for a video - especially if i don't find it fun, which is the case for most of the recent content updates in skyblock. (tldr game sucks)
altho my upload schedule has been consistently bad throughout the past 3 years, i do try to stick to a semi-consistent basis of uploading once every one or two weeks and i feel like trying to meet those deadlines have really caused the quality of my content to take a hit so from now on im just going to upload whenever a video is completed. on top of that, when i don't have any video ideas worth making, im just not going to make anything at all. a video is doomed from the start if its built on a poor idea, and ive definitely made a few videos built on poor ideas just for the sake of getting a video out. (tldr the upload schedule will only get worse)
and finally i want to stray away from the "skyblock yt meta". im ngl, there are some terrible skyblock youtubers. obviously im not a perfect creator and have definitely made bad videos before, but some of the bigger creators are legitimately putting out complete garbage on a daily basis. im saying this from personal experience - you cannot make a good skyblock video (or any video worth watching, for that matter) in a single day. im just going back to making videos that i think will be fun to make, instead of making videos that do well for the algorithm. i'll still make guides and the occasional money making method video, since i do have fun writing guides but for the most part i'm just gonna do whatever i want for videos instead of making the same thing everyone else is making. this also means i might post some non skyblock videos every once in a while, since i feel like some of those might just be better than the typical skyblock content. they'll be worth watching imo, so give them a chance if they show up in your feed (or don't, that's okay too. i'll still be making primarily skyblock content).
thats all for now. currently working on a video right now, it'll be out whenever i feel like it.
