âAbsolute Elsewhereâ by Blood Incantation is a masterpiece, and Morris Kolontyrsky is nothing short of a genius. His seamless fusion of bongo-synth-prog with brutal, face-melting death metal is truly enigmatic. With this album, Kolontyrsky joins the ranks of legends like Trey Azagthoth, Chuck Schuldiner, Allen West, Paul Masvidal, Terrence Hobbs, Mike Davis, Rand Burkey, and Patrick Mameli as a true keeper of the flame.
Blood Incantation could practically be a solo project under Kolontyrskyâs vision, and Iâd love to see what he could create with a larger budget and connections to world music titans. Definitely give âAbsolute Elsewhereâ a listenâitâs death metal like youâve never heard before.
