Hey everyone! I haven’t posted anything on this channel in a while, and honestly I’m not sure if or when I will. I’ve moved on from pet keeping content for the time being. But I am uploading gaming content over on my other channel; @jeremy_gonewild! I just started a legacy challenge in The Sims 4, so its a great time to jump in!

Hey all! I am reviving my old gaming channel on here, and I’ve uploaded a video there. I’m starting the Not So Berry Challenge in the Sims 4! It would be amazing if you would go subscribe to that channel and give this video a watch!

I'm going to be at the NARBC show in Tinley Park this coming weekend! Who else is going? I won't have a booth or anything, I'm going as an attendee, not a vendor. But if anyone going wants to say hi, feel free. And let me know you're going so I know to look for you!

Ever since Minecraft introduced axolotls in version 1.17, more people have become curious about what they are like in real life! So I made this list of 10 differences between real axolotls and Minecraft axolotls!

I am hard at work on my next video! This one won't be nearly as long as the last one, I promise. The video has been fully scripted already, but I have been having some technical problems while recording. Particularly, issues with my Sony ZV1 camera overheating. I bought some items that should help with that, so tonight I will give recording another try!
Meanwhile my previous video, the Complete Axolotl Care Guide - 2021 Edition, has been very well received! So far it's the best performing video for how long it's been published, meaning in the first 5 days it's gotten more views and watch time than any of my other videos have in their first 5 days. Which is fantastic! It also has a 100% like ratio... literally ZERO dislikes, which is amazing! I'm still getting more views per hour on my older axolotl videos, but I think with time this video will perform well in search results and my older axolotl videos will take a backseat.
I also have some new animals in quarantine right now... I won't say too much about them, but if you're on my Discord server you already know. I'll introduce them to you all after their quarantine time finishes!
Thank you all for such a warm welcome back! I was very nervous about coming back to YouTube, but it has been a pleasant return and that's entirely due to the support from the wonderful community here. I can't wait to show you guys what else I have been working on!

New video is uploaded and processing HD/4K now. When you upload in 4K, processing takes several hours, and this is a very long video. I did upload yesterday but I ran into a copyright issue with some of the background music, so I fixed it in editing and reuploaded. The video will be published later today, as the copyright issue is now resolved.
Here’s a pic of my axolotl, Blaze, while you wait! Thank you for your patience! I’m so excited to be back!

Update on my YouTube account: I'm *still* working on that same video that I've been editing for 3 weeks. I am now a full week past the day I said I'd upload it, and I still have so much more to do. It's coming, don't worry, but this video is a LOT more work than I anticipated. Future videos won't be nearly as long, so they won't take as much effort to make, but since this video is such a massive undertaking, the amount of work involved in making this video is overwhelming. I'll provide more updates as more work is done. Thank you everyone for your patience.

Update: I made a community post a few weeks ago saying I was returning to YouTube, and that I have some videos in the works. That is still the case. Here’s the status of that!
The first video I post when I return is going to be a long one. An hour and a half it looks like. That video has been recorded and I am currently working on editing it. It’s taking me a long time and I’m putting in a ton of work, so far I’ve put in about 25 hours of work (including research, scripting, and recording) and I’ve only got the first 8 minutes edited. I don’t want to give too much away yet, but my video style has changed dramatically and the quality has improved greatly. I’m taking inspiration from YouTubers in other categories that I enjoy watching. It’s taking so long to create because it’s such a long and detailed video, and because of the shift in style and quality. Im now shooting in 4K, and I have also improved my audio quality.
This new video format, and the amount of work it takes to make a video, means I won’t be posting weekly upon my return. I talked in 2019 about how I want to focus more on quality than quantity, and I think I’ve finally figured out how to do that.
You can expect my new video to be uploaded some time next week. I’ll let you know more details when I’m closer to being ready! Thanks for your support and for sticking with me through my absence while I figured out where I wanted to take my channel. And also, I’m almost to 4K subscribers! How the heck did that happen? Thank you all so much.

Hey YouTube! I know I haven't uploaded in a long time. Sorry about that. This last year was very rough for me, like it was for so many of you, and it was hard for me to commit to making YouTube videos. But things have improved and are looking up now, and I am happy to announce I have some new content in the works for you all! I am working on several videos for this channel and they will be coming very soon!
There have also been changes with my pets and my pet care. Improvements have been made, animal enclosures and fish tanks have been upgraded. Also, some of my fish have passed away, and I did not replace them, so I have less tanks now. My opinions about pet care standards have matured as well. Some of my older videos, including some of my more popular videos, no longer reflect my standard of care or contain old and outdated information, and I have set several videos to private as I no longer wish to promote my old standards. New videos are in the works to replace those old videos, but with updated information and my new, higher standard of care. Some of my old care videos are still up, but will be set to private as the updated videos are uploaded to replace them.
Although I have been inactive on YouTube for a short while, I have been very active on Twitch and TikTok during this last year. Search for the username Jeremy_GoneWild and you will find me on both of those platforms, as well as on Twitter and Instagram. And stay tuned here for my new videos that are coming soon! I am nervous for my return to YouTube, but also excited! I'll see you all soon!

Since I received so many photo submissions for my viewer betta tank review video, way more than I could possibly react to in one video, I will be reacting to one viewer betta tank at the beginning of every video moving forward. I do already have an extensive backlog of viewer betta tanks to react to, but if you want to add yours to the queue, please DM me a photo of your betta tank on Instagram.
*Please note, as of right now I am only accepting betta tank photos. I might expand to reacting to more types of fish tanks in the future, but as of now betta tanks are the ones I feel the most confident critiquing.
The first video with this new intro will be uploaded today (Friday), and it's a video about Kenyan Sand Boas. The attached photo is the tank I will be reacting to.

I'm Jeremy, and I have several pets, including a dog, several fish, reptiles, and amphibians, and I make videos about my animals and their care.
I am *not* an veterinarian, just a passionate pet keeper who does a lot of research. If you have a sick animal, please, consult a vet.
Much of the music used in my videos is my own original work.
