About
Bowes is the solo project of founding “Looking For Heather” bassist/guitarist, Jay Bowes. While musically not too far outside of Looking For Heather’s realm, Jay has tried to open up personally with his songwriting and find a home for the wealth of material that is just too abundant to find a home with Heather. Bringing in and mixing his favorite elements from different genres but never overreaching into any specific one is something most artists can only experiment within a solo project, and Bowes does this in a way that targets even the most varied of musical tastes. The emphasis here is on songwriting with powerful melodies and harmonies.
