That's how I started before, I always watch full gameplay and learned. Sun skill 2 now can trigger all attacks effects and count as basic attack damage but cannot crit.
So Critical build is good but if every time you spam skill 2 the passive of critical in your item can't trigger critical effects.
That's why sun is unique hero but important reminders sun can easily counter so in order to play him well, apply this👇

Use Trinity w/ WINTALKLER , sea halberd and malefic roar for 2 or more tank sustain brother❤ but if 1 sustain use damage build. Trinity build is only build who can melt down high hp heroes and damage build for squishy heroes.
That's is optional build but its still good and effective for sun. Sun damage build is your playstyle go to be aggressive, who target no defense item ignore tank sustain and itemzation
