What is the future of high level CFOP solving?

I had a competition today - got an 8.38 PR average in 3x3, which I am thrilled with. I also got an 8.91 average in finals which was pure sub 10. Overall I was solving well and turning well. I'm super proud of these results!

Thrilled to say that I got my first ever sub 9 average in round 1 of my comp today. Very proud to have achieved this! Also a 1.50 2x2 PR single. Details coming in a video soon 👀

Just had my first ever sub-5 single! A 4.91 last layer skip (non stackmat). Here's the scramble I'll try and make a recon vid or something. I did cross on red so put cross colour on right.

Just had a local competition. Was lots of fun hanging out with my friends. I didn't solve particularly well, it was only two rounds of 3x3 and I got low 10 averages in both of them. Messed up cross a few times and things just didn't totally come together. One solve, however, was amazing! I got a PR single of 7.29 in first round. It was my first PLL skip officially. I will make a reconstruction when scrambles are posted. I also got PR's in 4x4 and had fun with a few other events. Another competition next weekend which is just FMC and blind!
Shoutout to my friend @thecuberprocubing for a clutch 14.59 OH single and for letting me beat him in 3x3 finals again lol.

Had a competition today. Was only really solving well in the final round, where I got a PR average of 9.56, very proud of this! The first two rounds I made a lot of mistakes (some really bad ones in last layer), but I actually managed a 7.60 PR single in the first round which was awesome! I will try to reconstruct it when scrambles are posted.
Also did some other events, 4x4 and 5x5 were fun and I enjoyed OH.

Did not get the averages I was hoping for today in my competition. Generally just struggled with turning and timer stops. I did however get a PR single of 7.84 which I am very happy to get my first 7. I will make a reconstruction soon.
